We believe that integrity and care should guide every decision in sport horse breeding, development, and sales. Every horse we raise is given the foundation to thrive not just as an athlete, but as a partner.

Exceptional Horses. Unbridled Transparency.

We’re redefining what it means to buy and breed with confidence. Every record, pedigree, and observation is shared openly because clarity builds lasting trust. Our breeding program is rooted in intention — pairing proven bloodlines with thoughtful development to produce sound, confident horses ready for a lifetime of partnership.

Meet Hillary

Hillary Stockton built Hillary Drummond Sport Horses on a simple principle: clarity creates better outcomes for horses and the people who care about them. Her program reflects years of meticulous study, hard-earned lessons, and an unwavering commitment to honesty in an industry where it is often in short supply.

Her story begins with a painful truth. Early in her career, Hillary was misled on a purchase — a six-figure loss that could have ended her involvement in the sport. Instead, it ignited something in her.

The experience trained her nervous system to track what others overlook: inconsistencies in representation, subtle mismatches in story versus reality, and the micro-signals that predict how a horse will develop. That mistake became the foundation of her greatest strength: exceptional discernment.

Hillary didn’t retreat;
she leaned in.

She traveled to Ireland, Germany, and across Europe to observe how the top breeding cultures think, operate, and refine bloodlines over generations. She spent years developing her eye for type, movement, mind, and athletic potential. And she built her program with the intention of doing things differently — truthfully, transparently, and with the long game in mind.

Today, Hillary is known for producing and representing horses with exceptional quality and clear, accurate communication. From her flagship stallion Rock ’n Roll Ter Putte — a stallion whose honesty and presence mirror the values of her program — to her curated mare herd and rising generations of homebreds, every decision reflects purposeful stewardship.

Hillary’s homebred foals are raised with consistency and rhythm;

Her mares are selected not only for pedigree but for character and correctness; and every young horse is developed with an eye toward future partnership, not quick turnover. Whether she is evaluating a prospect, preparing a foal for weaning, or matching a rider with their next partner, her approach remains the same: clarity, ethics, and long-term success.

Splitting her time between the U.S. and Europe, Hillary continues to immerse herself in the environments that sharpen her eye. She studies the systems that produce horses capable of jumping at the highest levels, and she brings those standards — refined, intentional, and deeply responsible — into her North-American program.

At its core, HDSH is about more than horses. It’s about changing the culture of how they are bred, raised, represented, and entrusted to their next chapters. Hillary’s work honors the horses in her care, the buyers who rely on her honesty, and the legacy she’s building — one exceptional, transparently represented horse at a time.

Our Ethos

We share the full picture — health records, x-rays, pedigrees, videos, temperament notes — because honesty builds trust. Buyers, breeders, and riders deserve clarity at every step.

Transparency

We don’t just breed horses to sell. We breed with intention — focusing on soundness, proven pedigrees, and temperaments that will serve riders for years to come. Every foal is raised with its future in mind.

Long-Term Thinking

From conception through young horse development, daily care is centered on the horse’s well-being. Broodmares are monitored closely, foals are handled early and kindly, and youngstock grow up in an environment that balances physical development with calm confidence.
